Blocklist a Domain
If you wish to block messages from a particular sender, you can block that sender so that messages they send do not arrive in your Inbox. Anyone using Thexyz email can block IP addresses or domains directly in real time through the Webmail app.
If you have already tried blocking a sender through a mail client (like Outlook), mail might still be getting through from this sender at the server level. You may need to review your safelist in Webmail to make sure you don't have this sender listed. You can also block this sender at the server level so mail from this sender will be blocked.
Follow these instructions in order to block a sender through Webmail:
- Log in to your Webmail interface at https://webmail.thexyz.com
- In the upper right-hand side next to your username, click the drop-down to access the Settings menu.
- Select Spam Settings and click the Blocklist tab to access the block list.
- You can blocklist the sender's email address, domain or sending IP address. Click the Add button next to the field you wish to add to the blocklist.
You can use a "%" as a wildcard in the domain or email address (For example: @%.ru).
You will not be able to receive emails from any email service, address, mail server, internet service, mail server IP address, or domains included on your block list. The sender will receive bounce-back message and will need to reach out to an email administrator for blacklist removal from the blocked email list.
Thexyz subscribes to multiple third-party blacklist databases and spam traps to ensure we maintain strong anti-spam measures.
